The Cat Vase is a cat shaped vase and part of a limited series of 20 units. Each unit is hand painted and unique.
Orders placed before December 8th will be delivered by December 18th latest.
The vase was inspired by Alexander Calder's animal sketches published in Calder's first NY published book "Animal Sketching". It is a study dedicated to a dozen or so animals and their movements, illustrated by numerous drawings. It announces the ingenious sculptural work that he would produce in Paris the following year for "The Miniature Circus", in which he gives life to characters and animals in a three dimensional piece.
